Vivaz + QWERTY keyboard = Vivaz Pro

The fifth and final addition to the so-called ‘Fabulous 5′ is the Vivaz Pro, basically identical to the Vivaz with the exception of an added full QWERTY keyboard and a lower resolution camera. It was Sony Ericsson’s first announcement at the Mobile World Congress this year.

Now, what have we got here? A Kurara clone, you say? Pretty much. Specifications are pretty similar, except this one has a slide out keyboard. It’s codename is Kanna, and it’s going to be announced at Mobile World Congress 2010 in February.

Huge performance improvements with new Satio firmware

Just wanted to let you guys know that the new Satio firmware update brings along huge performance improvements. I just ran the SPMark Mobile JSR 184 benchmark and I noticed a performance boost between 40 – 80 percent! That’s huge! Really impressive stuff, no doubt.
