Just wanted to let you guys know that the new Satio firmware update brings along huge performance improvements. I just ran the SPMark Mobile JSR 184 benchmark and I noticed a performance boost between 40 – 80 percent! That’s huge! Really impressive stuff, no doubt.
By the way… I’ll publish the review in a few days. I’m sorry it’s taken a long time, but that’s the beauty of life. You never know what will happen. Anyway, it’s coming right up – should things go as I’d like them to! ![]()

First thing I’ll do when I get my Satio is to update the firmware.

That is, right after the 4-hour long trip back home from the airport, during which time I’ll be, of course, playing with it. This kind of contradicts my first statement.
BTW, Michell, I finaly managed to get the site unblocked!
That’s great mate. Make sure to update!
I think your new Satio should already have the new firmware preloaded.
Hi Michell,
I have bought the satio, and it has started to hang and the performance has also slowed down.
do u think it would improve with the firmware update.
how can i get the update.

You should see one of my previous posts. I published one about the update here.
Hi,
I have down load Sony Ericsson Update Service software
and run the program. I read instruction step by step on screen.
I see one step said that ” Remove and Re-Insert the phone battery ”
Can I ignore this step. I means Not Remove my phone battery ?
If i not remove , it will have any problem to continue the next step?
Thanks in advance for answer.
