A couple of sad Satios, wishing for a higher capacity battery.
This is a bit of a mystery. The retail units of Satio ship with a 1,000 mAh battery, which is a bit low on the juice considering it’s a high-end phone that needs a lot of power. However, there are reportedly 1,350 mAh batteries around that are compatible with the Satio.
According to Steve O’Hear from Last100.com a representative for Sony Ericsson was using this battery in his Satio. Steve asked Anders Westin, Sony Ericsson’s Head of Software Relations, Symbian Software, why they’ve put such a small capacity 1,000 mAh battery in the Satio, to which he replied “don’t you mean 1,350 mAh?” and pulled out his own Satio with the high capacity battery.
If this is true, I can’t understand why I need to suffer with a 1,000 mAh battery when there are larger versions available. I’m getting one and a half days / two days of battery out of my Satio before it has to be charged. I want more!

is the 1,350:1,000 battery exactly 35% more juice?
Thats 2 days compared to 1.5 :\
Yeah, that’s right. It makes quite a huge difference.
Hmmm is this really true? I mean if there were new batteries out there I’d say SE would advert for it so people at elast would be able to buy it. Perhaps they haven’t got enough to ship it with all phones?
While I wish to have a 1350mah baterry for Satio, I really think that it is merely a rumour. It is technically impossible unless SE increases the size of the battery of phone…….
