Here’s just a quick reminder that Sony Ericsson’s Contacts service on Facebook is now back up and running. I’ve just set up everything on Satio, and it worked flawlessly. Took no less than five seconds to sync everything over WiFi and that was it. It just worked. The above picture is a screenshot from the application page when I’m logged in and everything is synchronized with my Sony Ericsson account. The interface is quite nice as well. And you can match your contacts to your Facebook friends.
Go check it out at Facebook. There’s plenty of phone profiles to everyone. They currently support around 200 Sony Ericsson phones.
By the way, it seems to be localized, so that’s just another excuse for using it.
I tried it but didn’t get the facebook images of my contacts to the phone. Isn’t that the whole idea when matching the contats?
I haven’t found that feature in the service at all actually. That’s sad. It would be the only feature I’d long for. SPB panel for Xperia X2 has that feature. HOpe they add it at least
The idea is that you can have a backup that you can download and sync to your every device. More features will be added as we go along, and I am most certain that contact images will be one of the next features.
So u cant match ur contact images with the number yet? I tried on my aino and syned it like 4 times. No pics next to my contacts in the phone? Any Tips?
